I have been teaching Mathematics for 20 years at Northampton Area High School. I started off going to Lehigh Carbon Community College where I was able to earn an Associate's degree in mathematics education. I transferred into Cedar Crest College and was able to earn my B.S. degree. The demand for teachers in the math and science fields was high and I was able to gain employment immediately. After teaching for several years and getting my feet wet working with students, I went on to pursue my Master's degree through Wilkes University, with a concentration in classroom technology. In July of 2017 I had completed the STEM Endorsement Program at Millersville University. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to engage students and to make their learning meaningful and lasting. The strategies that are being introduced in these series of courses are sure to have positive outcomes for my students. I look forward to putting these strategies into motion!
